Fixing the erroneous hashCode in ImagePyramidTile solves the problem of stripes appearing. Claudius' fork offers one possible solution:

Alex,
I ran it with Firebug as well. Please, just try to re-upload your highest level of the Deep Zoom image so we can rule out such a problem.
Another thing I just realized is that I have a bug in the tile hash function:
http://github.com/openzoom/sdk/blob/m...
If you come up with something more clever, e.g. 10-11-0 (level, column, row) currently has the same hash as 10-1-10, then this might also fix the disappearing tiles.
Cheers,
Daniel

Inappropriate?swider132,
Could you please publish an example that reproduces the problem and post a link, thanks.

Inappropriate?Hi
here is the webpage..
http://testyourwebpage.com/www.thevoi...
I have attached a screenshot
if I slide there and zoom you will see that there is white stripe instead of the tiles, but when I save the location and go there directly it looks ok.

Inappropriate?swider132,
Thanks for the details and the screenshots. This problem has in fact been reported once already, although in that case it was black stribes:

I was actually able to reproduce the problem in your link but I can't exactly pinpoint the cause of the problem. I strongly urge you to re-upload your highest level tiles as it seems to me they are not even available from the server. If you look closely it seems that when the problem doesn't exist, the affected area is not as sharp as its surroundings. Other than that I would suggest a deep-dive debugging session into the TileCache.
Two more things: What's your real name (makes the conversation less akward) and could you please attribute the OpenZoom project as described in this blog post, thanks:

Great site!

Daniel

Inappropriate?I have uploaded highest reslustion tiles, that fixed view on lowest depth, but on higher ones I still have this rendering problem, I will try to look into the ImagepiramidTile class, but I am not sure if i will be able to fix it...
Please let me know if you figure this out...

Inappropriate?Alex,
Here's how Claudius attempted to improve the current hash function:
http://github.com/ccoenen/openzoom-sd...
Also, currently the mouse wheel doesn't work on Mac OS X. Make sure to to enable the workaround:

Inappropriate?Daniel,
Thank You soooo much for your help, I think that fixed the white tiles issue.
scrooling works too(as far as on my computer). One more thing, pannig is little choppy, any ideas how can I improve smooth panning?
Thank you

Inappropriate?Hello Daniel,
fist of all I want to say thanks for that great work, it was a lot of fun to test the openzoom sdk and play around..
I downloaded the SDK, experimenting with MultiScaleImage and Zoomify pyramid, also tested Photoshop export with Tango.
The problem is that I got big random black stripes on MaxZoom and not moving the ZUI, i also seen that on the WebTrends Example, maybe you got experience with that?
greets Dominik
