OpenZoom Licensing, Non-Multiscale Images & Scene Navigator
Hello!
I have a few questions about OpenZoom.
1. Do I have to mention your contribution in project copyrights or something?
2. I want to use this from Flex 3. Do any of the components support an JPG/PNG image directly or must they be split in pieces and an XML generated?
3. Does OpenZoom have a birdseye `map` component to show the user how much of the image he is seeing?
Thank you!

Inappropriate?Mash,
- Short answer: Yes, you do. Long answer: The OpenZoom SDK is licensed under the MPL 1.1/GPL 3/LGPL 3 trilicense. The following announcement shortly talks about attribution: http://gasi.ch/blog/openzoom-sdk/
Please consult with a lawyer to answer your questions.
- The following topic http://community.openzoom.org/openzoo... talks about how to implement this exact scenario.
- Yes, it's called SceneNavigator
Cheers,
Daniel

Inappropriate?About the SceneNavigator, ...
I've tried to get it to work several ways including the one found in the CS4 example, but once I didn't get errors anymore the best I got was still nothing, meaning the application appeared no different than without SceneNavigator.
I am using Flex Builder 3 and since SceneNavigator is not used in the CS3 example I am here now to ask if it even works below CS4 or Flex Builder 4 and, if it does, how?
Greetings,
AncientRemains
Edit:
Nevermind, ...
I guess I should post here more often because every time I do, I manage to solve my question myself a little over a day after I posted it.
So thanks for being here and thanks for OpenZoom.
I’m probably just not seeing the obvious
