Inappropriate?Mark,
When you say OpenZoom images, which do you mean? The actual OpenZoom Image format, i.e. http://gasi.ch/blog/openzoom-descript...? Or the other image format that can be viewed with the OpenZoom SDK such as Zoomify and Deep Zoom? As for the actual OpenZoom Image format, I am still working on tools for supporting it. Keep an eye on the OpenZoom Google Code site.
As for the other options, I guess it's your lucky day! Yesterday I have published the first release of the Python Deep Zoom Tools. They are a cross-platform alternative to the Microsoft DeepZoomTools.dll. The Python Deep Zoom Tools allow you to read Deep Zoom image descriptors (DZI), create Deep Zoom image pyramids and Deep Zoom collections.
Download Python Deep Zoom Tools

If you want to develop on .NET, check out the official Microsoft Deep Zoom Tools:

Inappropriate?Hello,
i'm pretty new to OpenZoom, and i'm looking for a way to batch-convert images into OpenZoom, DeepZoom or Zoomify format...
Surfing around OpenZoom website i just found something about "Deep Zoom Composer" but it doesn't really looks like batch processing (you have to set a lot of stuff), and something about Coral, but since i've never used phyton i didn't know where to start from..
So, which is the best way to do this? And which is the best format to use for just normal Hi-res images i'd like to zoom?
Thanks to everyone ;)
Matteo
P.S.
pardon me if the question is stupid/obvious/improper
